Willow Grove Day Camp offers every Counselor In Training the following:

• A chance to learn leadership skills and spend a fun filled summer outdoors
• Individual schedules including sports, other activities and CIT "assignments".
• The fun-loving supervision of a talented CIT director and his capable staff
• Special events and trips - about 20 every season just for CITs, including: Jersey Shore, Dorney Park, Great Adventrure, New Hope, parties and intercamp activities
• A fully equipped activity center and separate locker rooms to meet all needs

The CIT program has been carefully developed to provide leadership training along with the fun:

• Direct involvement with a camper group and counselor or with an activity specialist
• Real-life experience with responsibility and caring for others and their needs
• Information Exchange Workshops to teach, train and counsel teens about their lives in today's world

Are you eligible to become a Willow Grove CIT?

• You must be 12 years 9 months of age as of September 1 of that camp season

How do you become eligible to become a salaried Junior Counselor?

• You must be 14 years 9 months of age as of September 1 of that camp season
• You must successfully complete the two year CIT program and have received the CIT diploma
